Never Judge

Chapter 833 - 833

As soon as Jonathan arrived at Maharlika hotel, he was escorted by John, Cedric\'s personal driver, and several body guards up to the room where Cedric and his friends were.

"Jonathan, thank God you are safe!" Adrianna said as she rushed to the young man and gave him a hug.

He looked like a female version of Julia, the same pale skin and black hair framed by a thin body.

"Thank you, Adrianna, thank you." Jonathan said as he began to tear up. "I was so scared, I didn\'t know what to do."

"It\'s okay Jonathan, you are safe now." Adrianna said as she led him to the table.

Cedric waved at a waiter to bring food and drinks for the distressed Jonathan while Adrianna tried to calm him down.

"Jonathan, there are a few people I\'d like you to meet." Adrianna said as calmly as she could as she gestured towards Cedric\'s friends who were seated across from him.

Jonathan looked up, and his expression said it all. He was quite shocked to see such important people sitting across from him.

He knew that Adrianna had married the Reyes Heir, but to him Cedric was just Cedric. The cool guy that spoke to him despite his nerdy tendencies.

It didn\'t matter to Jonathan that Cedric was actually the CEO of one of the richest and most powerful companies in the country. It never really sunk in, but the people across him now intimidated him.

Miguel Chan had been his idol since he had learned of the young miracle doctor, and he was well aware of Veronica who was an international designer.

"Breathe." Adrianna reminded him as she laughed at his expression. "They are only human, and they are nice, they won\'t bite."

"I just never thought I would ever sit across people like them." Jonathan said in a shaky voice.

"Nice to meet you." Miguel said with a smile as he tried to seem as normal as possible, but it seemed to have the opposite effect on the young man. Jonathan began to hyperventilate as his idol spoke to him.

"Jonathan, calm down." Cedric said with a laugh as he walked up to Jonathan. "You\'ve played video games with me, they can\'t be more intimidating than me."

"Shut up." Miguel said as he rolled his eyes at Cedric.

"You\'re his idol by the way." Cedric said as he looked at Jonathan who looked like he was about to faint at any moment.

"But I\'ve known you since you were pretending to be a nobody, but them, oh my gosh, I\'m speaking in front of Miguel Chan and Veronica. I think I can die now." Jonathan said as he continued to freak out.

"Wow, he\'s a fan." Ian said with a laugh as he came over carrying Yoyo in one arm and holding Dominic\'s hand in the other.

"You\'re- you\'re-" Jonathan began to stutter as he pointed at Ian.

"A lowly assistant?" Ian said as he let Dominic run to his parents and placed Yoyo down on the ground. "I didn\'t want this one to run through all the wet spots in the bathroom." He told Cedric and Adrianna.

"You\'re Ian Lim, I know your story. I know how you lost everything and now you and your family are one of the richest again." Jonathan said as he pointed at Ian.

"I swear, he freaks out about my assistant, but not about me." Cedric grumbled as he caught Yoyo in his arms.

The little boy had run up to his father and jumped, trusting that his dad would catch him.

"We should get down to business." Ian said, ignoring Cedric\'s comments as the waiters arrived with food and drinks for everyone.

As soon as the food had been served, Cedric sent everyone away, and had his bodyguards stand watch outside of the room.

"Jonathan, I will be upfront with you, we need something from you." Cedric told the young man as he cut into his food.

"What is it? I mean I doubt I have anything to offer, but of course. Adrianna has been like an older sister to me, and you never looked down at this nerdy guy. So yes, anything." Jonathan quickly said with a nod.

"Hold your horses kid, we need to explain things to you first." Miguel said with a laugh as he found Jonathan\'s eagerness quite amusing.

"Alright, I\'m all ears." Jonathan said as he placed his knife and fork down.

"We think there might be a chance that our son, this little boy," Miguel said as he pointed at Dominic. "Might be your sister\'s son."

Cedric watched as Jonathan\'s jaw dropped, he wasn\'t sure if Jonathan was shocked that his sister had a son, or that the boy was still alive.

Either way, the news was a shock to Jonathan.

"Did you know that Julia had a child?" Adrianna asked.

"I did, yes." Jonathan said with a nod. "But the kid died a long time ago. Dad told me he died, I felt so bad I wished that I had just taken him."

"Why didn\'t your family want to keep him?" Cedric asked as he leaned forward to listen.

"Aside from the fact that Julia was unmarried?" Jonathan asked. "Because they knew nothing of the father. Over the years the man tried to contact us but to no avail. We just ignored him."

"So you know who the father is?" Cedric asked as he waited for Jonathan to give an answer.

"We don\'t exactly know who he is, he just left us a way to contact him." Jonathan explained.

"Jonathan, we need to know if Dominic is your sister\'s son, then if you don\'t mind, do you think you could share his number with us, the father\'s I mean." Cedric said as he tried to convince Jonathan.

"How can you find out if Dominic is her son?" Jonathan asked.

"A DNA test against yours." Cedric explained.

"Sure." Jonathan agreed with a nod, prompting Miguel to call in the people from the hospital to get DNA samples to test.

When they were finally done gathering samples, the hospital staff quickly left.

Cedric couldn\'t help but smile. He felt like whoever was holding Julia\'s family captive failed in blocking him from speaking with the Tius and getting the samples he needed.

At least now he had his first victory.
